AIS offers a comprehensive IB Continuum, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). Located in Salmiya, the three-to-four-acre campus features the 1,270-seat Dr. Kamil AlRayes Auditorium and a Black Box Theatre. Athletic facilities include two gyms, two soccer fields, tennis courts, an aerobics room, and a weight room. Academic and support facilities comprise science and computer labs, a learning common, a canteen, music and art rooms, a clinic, and a kindergarten play area.

The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities designed to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development. Competitive opportunities include varsity, junior varsity, and U14 sports teams participating in NESAC and KASAC leagues.
