Admissions

Prospective students must complete an online application form and submit official university or college transcripts, copies of all educational credentials, and two letters of recommendation. Applicants are also required to provide a one-page essay detailing their interest in and expectations for the Montessori teacher education programme. A personal guarantee form must be signed and submitted as part of the registration process.

Calendar

Theory classes are conducted virtually via video conferencing. Compulsory practical curriculum workshops are held on-site at regional locations, typically scheduled twice a year in November and April, with each workshop lasting 5-6 days.

    Mrs. Debola Atoyebi is the Director of Heritage House Montessori Center, which she established in 1998 to reform Early Childhood education in Nigeria. She holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Lagos and a Montessori Diploma (0-6 years) from the Montessori Center International, London. Her extensive experience includes classroom teaching, school headship, curriculum development, and mentoring emerging teachers.
