Pinefield College

Pinefield Schools is a non-denominational Christian institution that emphasizes a child-centred approach to education. It aims to produce Christlike leaders by integrating faith into the curriculum, holding weekly Bible studies for staff, and focusing on character development alongside academic excellence. The school operates on the belief that every child matters and strives to nurture students in a warm, family-oriented environment.

The school offers an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for children aged 1–4, utilizing the Montessori curriculum at the nursery level. Primary students in Years 1–6 follow the English National Curriculum (Key Stages 1 and 2), while the College section for students aged 11–16 follows the English National Curriculum (Key Stages 3 and 4). The curriculum emphasizes STEAM subjects, literacy, and numeracy, with specialist instruction provided for subjects such as French, ICT, music, and physical education.

The school maintains small class sizes, with a maximum of fifteen students per class, to ensure personalized attention for every child. It has integrated a special needs programme designed to provide learning support for gifted and talented students.

The school requires prospective students to complete an application form and undergo an entrance examination. Following the submission of the application and payment of the required fee, the school coordinates the examination process for the applicant. Admission is granted upon the successful completion of the entrance assessment.

The academic year is divided into three sessions: Autumn, Spring, and Summer. The 2025/2026 Autumn session runs from September to December, the Spring session from January to March, and the Summer session commences in April.

Located on a 1.8-hectare site in Lekki Phase 1, the campus features purpose-built learning environments and a dedicated boarding section. Boarding facilities include separate houses for boys and girls, air-conditioned rooms with a maximum of four students, common areas for recreation, and an onsite sickbay. The campus is equipped with modern technology, ICT areas, and backup power systems, including generators and inverters.

The school offers a range of activities including sports, music, and swimming, which is taught by qualified instructors. Boarding students participate in an organized weekend activity plan that includes outings to cinemas and other sites of educational or leisure interest. Additionally, the school hosts events such as Vacation Bible School.
