Heritage International School

The school aims to build future leaders by fostering an enthusiastic, creative, and positive environment that motivates critical thinking and develops lifelong learners. The school follows the Canadian Manitoba curriculum, providing education from Junior Kindergarten (JK) to Grade 12. The academic structure includes nursery, elementary, secondary, and university preparation stages. The curriculum is supported by certified Canadian instructors and includes specialized instruction in Arabic, Religion, Ministry Social Studies, and French.

Graduates receive a High School Degree from the Manitoba Ministry of Education in Canada, which is accepted by both local and foreign universities. Each student is registered with the Manitoba Ministry of Education and receives a permanent Manitoba Personal Education Number (PEN) to track their progress from junior kindergarten through post-graduate stages. The school reports 12 graduating cohorts and over 1,000 alumni over its 20-year history.

The school provides dedicated learning support services as part of its academic programme. These services are integrated into the school's character education and overall student support framework to ensure all students can achieve their potential.

The school accepts applications online through its website. Prospective families must complete an application form and book an appointment for an age-appropriate student assessment, which covers a variety of topic areas to ensure academic and developmental readiness. Required documentation includes a recent photo, birth certificate, passport copy, parent IDs, and academic report cards from the previous two years for non-kindergarten applicants.

The school operates a full academic calendar featuring various events such as a Halloween Parade, Sports Day, and a Global University Fair for students in grades 11-12. The campus features a variety of indoor facilities, including a multipurpose room, a large two-story library, an indoor gym, and an indoor cafeteria. Academic spaces include science, physics, biology, chemistry, and industrial labs, as well as two computer labs and language labs. An indoor theater is currently under construction.

Heritage International School offers a range of activities designed to support all-round development, including a Student Council, Model United Nations, and community service initiatives. Students participate in various clubs and activities spanning science, math, reading, literacy, critical thinking, social studies, geography, arts, and crafts. The school also organizes house-based activities and hosts outsourced after-school programmes.
