The ABC International School

The school follows the English National Curriculum, offering the Early Years Programme (Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception), followed by Key Stages 1 to 3. Key Stage 4 includes IGCSE examinations, and Key Stage 5 offers International AS and A Levels. The school is accredited by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and AQA, and is a member of COBIS and FOBISIA.

Graduates consistently gain admission to leading universities in the UK, USA, South Korea, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and other countries across Asia and Europe. The school is authorized to host admission tests for Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Students achieve high results in IGCSE and A Level examinations, frequently outperforming UK and international school averages.

The school does not provide Special Educational Needs support for students with learning difficulties. Children with demonstrable Special Educational Needs are considered on an individual basis to determine if the school is equipped to support them.

Admission is based on entrance assessments and an interview with a member of the Senior Management Team to evaluate educational ability, aptitude, and English language proficiency. Prospective students must provide an application form, the most recent school report, a passport or birth certificate, and a student photo. Once a place is offered, parents must complete additional documentation, including a Home School Agreement and vaccination records, within one week. The school does not provide specific support for learning difficulties and considers students with Special Educational Needs on an individual basis.

The school operates throughout the academic year, with specific procedures for admissions and ongoing student progress monitoring. Parents are required to support school policies, including the mandatory participation of students in annual school trips.

The school operates two campuses in Ho Chi Minh City: the Trung Son Campus and the Nha Be Campus. Both sites are well-resourced with facilities tailored to specific age groups. The school maintains an air quality safety policy, using monitoring devices to track the Air Quality Index (AQI) daily; outdoor activities are restricted or moved indoors when the AQI reaches or exceeds 150.

The school offers a wide range of age-appropriate extra-curricular activities, including the International Award (Duke of Edinburgh), Model United Nations (MUN), the Global Issues Network, Jump-Jam, and Construction Club. Students also participate in various sporting, musical, and house-based competitions, such as swim meets, football, badminton, and basketball, which are designed to develop social, communication, and leadership skills. The school is divided into four house teams: Dalat Dragons, Hanoi Hornets, Mekong Monsters, and Saigon Serpents.
