Hodari Christian School

Established in 2016, Hodari Christian School is a private international institution that adheres to a Christian code of conduct. The school aims to shape students' character and academic abilities, fostering independent learners who are inspired to shape a better world. The curriculum integrates the experience of God's love alongside academic development.

The school offers an Early Childhood program for ages 2–6 using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum, which focuses on reading, writing, and basic arithmetic through play and discovery. For primary students aged 6–12, the school follows the Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum, which emphasizes mastery of academic disciplines and critical thinking. The primary stage concludes with the Cambridge Checkpoint exam in Grade 6.

Parents are required to disclose any known or suspected additional needs before a student is admitted. In cases where additional educational needs are identified, the school may discuss placing a student in a class a year below their age group to ensure they are supported.

The admissions process begins with an inquiry form, followed by a scheduled assessment to determine a student's emotional, social, and academic readiness. Once successful, parents complete the admission forms, settle the invoice, and meet with the Head of School. Students are placed in classes corresponding to their age and assessment results, with a strict policy against placing students above their age group. Siblings are eligible for fee discounts.

The school operates on a three-term academic year. For the 2026 academic year, the third term is scheduled from April 8, 2026, to July 10, 2026, with a midterm break occurring from May 27 to May 29, 2026.

Located at Kawe Beach in Dar es Salaam, the school campus provides an environment for both indoor and outdoor learning. Facilities support a range of activities, including play areas for early childhood development and classrooms equipped for the ACE and Cambridge curricula. The school also provides transport services and daily meals, including breakfast and lunch.

The school provides a variety of extracurricular activities designed to help students cultivate skills beyond the classroom setting. Early childhood activities include singing, dancing, painting, building blocks, and water and sand play. Additionally, the school organizes school trips, with costs varying depending on the destination.
