Ibadan International School

Ibadan International School is a not-for-profit, non-denominational, co-educational day school that welcomes students regardless of colour, sex, or religious affiliation. It aims to provide a broad, international education that prepares students to live in harmony with others and enables them to continue their studies anywhere in the world.

The school offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students in the Pre-School and Junior School sections, focusing on knowledge, skills, concepts, attitudes, and action. In the Senior School, students follow the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum, developed by the University of Cambridge Examinations Board. Pre-School education begins at age two, with the PYP framework implemented from Nursery through to Kindergarten.

The school does not currently cater to students with diagnosed specific learning difficulties, as it does not possess the necessary resources to provide full support for these students.

The school office serves as the primary point of contact for prospective families, who are encouraged to tour the campus and learn about the application process. Admission is based on criteria including general academic potential and a student's suitability for the school's educational model, with a report from the previous school required. Priority is given to siblings and returning students, and entry is subject to the availability of vacancies.

The campus includes dedicated spaces for Pre-School and Junior School sections, as well as facilities to support the broader school community. The school maintains a library and ICT resources to support student learning, alongside medical care provided by school nurses.
