Founded in 1973, the school is a secular, coeducational institution that focuses on academic excellence with a social and environmental conscience. The school offers bilingual and international programs (SEP-IB-Olinca / CCH-IB-Olinca) and is an IB World School. The academic stages include Early Stimulation (from 18 months), Kindergarten/Early Years, Primary (PEP), Secondary (PAI), and Preparatory (Diploma). The curriculum incorporates STEAM, robotics, coding, and design, and utilizes educational platforms like Knotion. French is offered as a third language starting in secondary school.

The school welcomes students from 18 months to 18 years of age. The admission process involves an information session, submission of an application form with academic reports, and a student evaluation, which varies by level and may include interviews with parents, psychological assessments, and entrance exams for secondary and preparatory levels. Successful candidates receive an enrollment circular detailing the next steps and fees.

The school operates two campuses in the south of Mexico City. The Pedregal campus spans over 16,000 square meters and includes green areas, sports facilities, science and technology labs, auditoriums, an art studio, a coding lab, a digital design studio, an infoteca, STEAM areas, and a 500-square-meter gymnasium with a climbing wall. The San Ángel campus features green areas, multi-purpose rooms, a library, sports spaces, science, art, and technology labs, and STEAM areas. Both campuses provide school transportation.

The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including robotics, coding, design, entrepreneurship, and STEAM workshops. Students also participate in the 'República Olinca' (a democratic simulation program), OLINMUN (a Model United Nations in English), and cultural trips within Mexico and abroad. Additionally, there is a community service program with 15 different initiatives, such as visiting nursing homes, working with children with disabilities, and providing technology and English classes in public schools.
