Italian International Secondary School

The school aims to promote active and critical learning while focusing on the human, civil, and cultural realization of each individual. The school offers two distinct academic pathways. The Italian section provides a bilingual education from nursery (starting at 2 years old) through primary school, where 60% of instruction is in Italian and 40% in English, culminating in a Linguistic High School programme. The English stream, which is a registered Cambridge International School, follows the Cambridge Checkpoint curriculum for Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9) and the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum for Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11).

The school maintains a 'no child left behind' policy and emphasizes small class sizes to support individual student needs. It also enforces a zero-tolerance policy for bullying to ensure an enabling environment for learning.

The school accepts students starting from twenty months of age. It is an international, bilingual institution that welcomes students of all nationalities, not exclusively Italian families.

Located on a 1.7-hectare site in the Lekki residential area, the school complex features a large main building with 16 classrooms, a LIM classroom, a library, and four offices. Specialized facilities include a scientific laboratory, a computer lab, an art laboratory, and a music room. Sports amenities comprise a football field with a training pitch, two tennis courts, a 25-meter swimming pool, and a separate, air-conditioned, wood-paved gymnasium, alongside two garden play spaces for younger children.

The school offers a variety of afternoon activities and projects. Sports play a significant role in the co-curricular programme, with options including football, athletics, and basketball. Additionally, students have the opportunity to learn to read and play music fluently.
