Programmes

The school offers a comprehensive academic program starting with Early Years (ages 3-6) and progressing through Elementary (Grades 1-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and High School (Grades 9-12). High School students have the choice of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, the IB Career-related Programme, or the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) Program. Middle School students may also engage in JIS Studio, an experiential learning pathway focused on teamwork and long-term projects.

Outcomes

About the campus

The school operates across three garden-like campuses in South Jakarta: Pattimura Elementary, Pondok Indah Elementary, and the Cilandak campus, which houses the Middle and High Schools. These 20 hectares of space feature state-of-the-art facilities, including dedicated areas for sports, drama, arts, and engineering. The school is recognized as an Apple Distinguished School, utilizing a one-to-one technology program to support student learning.

Co-curriculars

Students have access to over 150 clubs and activities, ranging from arts and athletics to service-oriented groups. The school participates in the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asia Schools (IASAS) for competitive sports and offers the JIS Academy for additional academic, fitness, and creative pursuits. Service learning is integrated into the curriculum from Early Years through High School, supported by the school's service arm, JIS Peduli.
