Redeemers International Secondary School

Founded by the Apapa Family of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, the school integrates Christian principles and values into its educational program. It aims to develop the "total child" by focusing on both academic and spiritual growth, supported by daily staff devotionals and spiritual assemblies. The school emphasizes discipline as a core virtue for success and character development.

The school offers a six-year academic program comprising three years of Junior Secondary School and three years of Senior Secondary School. It runs both the Nigerian and British curricula, preparing students for examinations including IGCSE, WASSCE, NECO, Checkpoint, BECE, SAT, and UTME. Students sit for the Cambridge IGCSE at the end of SS2 and the Nigerian SSCE (WAEC and NECO) at the end of SS3.

The school provides learning support for students who may require additional assistance, including those with intellectual disabilities or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Support strategies include creating individualised plans, providing alternative methods of assessment, organising remedial classes, and offering one-on-one teaching.

Admission is based on merit. Prospective students are required to submit a birth certificate, a school testimonial, and the academic report from their previous school. The school conducts an entrance examination as part of the admission process.

The school operates from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The academic year typically includes various events such as Founders' Day, speech and prize-giving ceremonies, and student leadership swearing-in events.

The school offers a range of activities including debate competitions, community service projects such as the "Feed the Needy" initiative, and outreach programs like the "Back to School" project. Students also participate in mock elections and hold leadership roles through the Students' Representative Council and various prefect positions.
