Léman is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering a curriculum that spans from early childhood through high school. The academic program is divided into the Center for Early Childhood Education, Lower School, Middle School, and High School. The curriculum emphasizes inquiry-based learning, STEAM approaches, and global education, with the IB Diploma Program serving as the capstone for high school students. Specialized offerings include a woodworking program, music and arts instruction, and expert college advising.

Léman Manhattan accepts applications for students from 12 months through grade 12, with a birthday cut-off of December 31 for PreK2 through Kindergarten. The admissions process is managed via the Ravenna platform, where families can submit applications and register for tours. The school is committed to accessibility and offers financial aid to families with demonstrated need, starting in Kindergarten. Prospective families are encouraged to connect with the admissions team, which includes dedicated staff for both day and boarding applicants.

The school operates on a semester-based system. The academic calendar includes specific start and end dates for the Early Childhood, Lower School, and Upper School divisions, along with designated days for no student attendance. A full calendar, including quick reference guides for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years, is available to the community.

The school operates two campuses in Lower Manhattan: the Broad Street Campus (12 months–Grade 5) and the Morris Street Campus (Grades 6-12). The Broad Street facility, a historic neo-classical building, features specialized learning spaces including a 25-meter swimming pool, a 4,600-square-foot gymnasium, science labs, art and woodworking studios, a library, and a rooftop playground. The campus also houses the WonderLab maker space and the historic Léman Ballroom, which serves as a venue for school-wide events and performances.

Léman offers a wide range of after-school programs, including extracurricular clubs and specialized activities in film, music, and theatre for grades 6-12. The school hosts 45 competitive athletic teams, with opportunities ranging from grade 5 team sports to elite-level varsity athletics.
