Admissions
Marymount accepts applications year-round, though early application in January or February is recommended for September entry. The admissions process requires a completed application form, health form, teacher and principal recommendations, and school reports from the previous two years. Following a review of these materials, the Head of School informs parents of the final decision. Admission to Early Childhood requires children to meet specific age cut-offs by October 31st.
Calendar
The school year runs from early September to late June. The school operates Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:30 am to 3:20 pm for Early Childhood through Kindergarten, and 8:20 am to 3:30 pm for Grades 1–12. After-school activities typically run until 4:45 pm for Elementary and 4:55 pm for Secondary students.

The school is situated on a 40-acre campus in northern Rome’s Veio Park, featuring playgrounds, outdoor sports courts, and expansive lawns. The campus provides a safe, peaceful setting for academic and extracurricular pursuits, with facilities designed to support a variety of disciplines. Students have access to these grounds year-round for recess, sports, and study breaks.
Co-curriculars
Students participate in a wide range of activities, including student councils, the House System, and various student clubs. Leadership opportunities are provided through the National Honor Society, the National Junior Honor Society, Model United Nations, and annual RSHM Leadership Conferences. Service-oriented initiatives include the Abana Project for Zambia, food drives, and CAS projects for the IB Diploma Programme.
