ABA is an IB Continuum School authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Kindergarten 1 to Grade 5, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grades 6 to 10, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11 and 12. The curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking and global citizenship, with the MYP incorporating Cambridge IGCSE elements. ABA graduates are prepared for success at universities worldwide, with the school's IB Diploma Programme serving as a standard for university preparation. ABA Oman International School maintains an inclusive admissions policy, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds. For Early Childhood and Elementary levels, English language proficiency is not a prerequisite for acceptance. For Grades 6–12, applicants undergo an English proficiency assessment or interview to determine placement and support needs, with English proficiency being a requirement for enrollment in Grades 11 and 12.

The school operates an annual calendar featuring a variety of community, academic, and co-curricular events.
