Al Sahwa Schools

Al Sahwa Schools is a bilingual institution that values Omani identity while maintaining an international perspective. It aims to nurture confident, compassionate, and responsible citizens by fostering independent thinking and personal development through a curriculum that honours the heritage of the Sultanate of Oman.

The school follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for KG to Grade 5, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grades 6 to 10, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11 and 12. Additionally, students in Grades 11 and 12 may pursue the Oman General Education Diploma (GED).

The Support for Learning (SfL) department provides inclusive education for students with mild to moderate learning and language needs, offering support in-class, in small groups, or on a limited one-to-one basis. The school provides English Language Learner (ELL) support, including English Language Acquisition classes for Grades 6–9, as well as Arabic language support for students requiring assistance with the Arabic curriculum.

The school manages an enrolment process for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Prospective families are encouraged to book a tour or attend open days to learn more about the school's offerings.

The academic calendar includes key dates such as mid-year examinations, mock examinations, and various school-wide events. Located in the diplomatic district of Al Sarooj, the campus features a dedicated Kindergarten area, shaded communal spaces, and separate playgrounds for boys and girls. Academic and extracurricular facilities include sports pitches, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, science laboratories, an innovative library, design and technology suites, performing arts spaces, and a large auditorium.
