Admissions

The school welcomes applications throughout the school year for students aged 3-18. The admissions process includes a review of previous school reports, cognitive ability tests (CATs) for students in Years 1-11, and interviews. For Sixth Form entry, students typically require at least five GCSEs at grades A*-C or 9-4, including English and mathematics. All applicants must provide copies of passports and Oman Resident Cards, and children must be fully immunised in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines.

Calendar

The academic year is divided into three terms: Autumn, Spring, and Summer. Terms typically begin in late August, early January, and mid-April, respectively, with breaks for half-term holidays and various Omani public holidays. The school year concludes at the end of June.

About the campus

The campus in Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos features a 500-seat theatre/auditorium, three multi-purpose halls, two sports halls, and a dance studio. Outdoor facilities include a large floodlit all-weather pitch with a spectator grandstand and three swimming pools, including a 25m eight-lane pool, a 25m four-lane pool, and a learner pool. Academic facilities include two well-resourced libraries, ten science labs, and specialist spaces for art, design technology, drama, media, and computing.

Co-curriculars

An extensive enrichment programme allows students to pursue individual talents through competitive and recreational sports, performing and creative arts, and academic extension activities. Students may also participate in expeditions, trips, and community clubs. Leadership opportunities are available through roles such as sports captains, language ambassadors, eco-warriors, and a formal Student Leadership Team.
