Sekolah Nasima is an educational institution under the Yayasan Pendidikan Islam (YPI) Nasima that provides holistic, integrative education from daycare through high school. It combines national curriculum standards with unique Nasima materials to foster nationalist and religious character in its students.

Teaching approach

The school is guided by a "Nationalist-Religious" philosophy, aiming to form "locomotives" for a greater Indonesia. It emphasizes the integration of strong character, global competence, and lifelong learning, while maintaining close ties with religious scholars (ulama) to ensure a balanced education in science, skills, and morality. The educational approach is holistic and integrative, rooted in the values of the Indonesian nation and Islamic teachings that are "rahmatan lil alamin."

Programmes

The academic offering spans Daycare, KB-TK (Kindergarten), SD (Elementary), SMP (Junior High), and SMA (Senior High), with an additional Nasima International Class and Nasima Boarding school. The curriculum is based on national standards, enhanced by Nasima-specific content in exact sciences, information technology, and international communication. Language instruction includes Indonesian, Javanese, English (including "English Conversation for Youngster"), Arabic, and Mandarin. The school utilizes a "Blueprint" of education consisting of five books covering Nasima Competencies, Language, Exact Sciences, Applied Technology, and Management.

Outcomes

Graduates are expected to be competitive in the local and global arena while upholding noble Indonesian character. The school has achieved "A" (Excellent) accreditation for all levels and holds ISO 9001:2008 certification. Students and staff have earned numerous accolades at city, provincial, and national levels in both academic and non-academic fields, including research competitions, sports, and arts.
