Newton College is an IB World School that was the first in Peru to offer the Diploma Programme, which is recognized by local universities for direct entry. Admissions

The admissions process for Early Years (Nursery to Kinder) and Lower/Upper School (1st Grade to Form VI) involves submitting required documentation, followed by an interview and a guided campus tour. Applicants for 2nd Grade through Form V must complete diagnostic tests in English, Spanish, and Mathematics, as well as a psychology test. Priority is given to siblings of current students and children of alumni.

Calendar

The school operates on an annual academic calendar, with tuition paid in 11 monthly installments from February to December. The school coordinates its major holidays and special events with other British Schools of Peru (BSP) to ensure alignment across the network. Transfers from foreign schools are possible provided they occur before August.

About the campus

Located on an 11-hectare campus in La Molina, Lima, the school features extensive sports facilities, including natural grass pitches, an athletics track, a sports centre, and a swimming pool with a retractable roof. Academic buildings include the Harriman Building for science and computing, the Pelagatti Building for primary students, and the Churchill Building for secondary students, all equipped with smart-boards and fiber-optic internet. The school also maintains the Sachavacayoc Study Centre in the Amazon Rainforest for ecological research and a 650-seat theatre for performing arts.

Students participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including music, theatre, dance, and various sports such as football, rugby, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and swimming.
