Uplift Education is the largest free public charter school network in North Texas, serving over 23,000 students in pre-K through 12th grade across 20 campuses. It provides a rigorous, International Baccalaureate-based education designed to prepare students for college and career success.

Programmes

Uplift Education utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum across all grade levels. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) for grades K-5 focuses on interdisciplinary themes like social studies, mathematics, science, and the arts. The Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6-10 bridges foundational learning with advanced study, while the Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 11-12 offers college-level coursework, including the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge. The network also provides a dedicated Road to College & Career program that includes career exposure, college field trips, and alumni support.

Uplift Education has achieved a 100% college acceptance rate for its graduates since 2002. Alumni demonstrate strong post-secondary success, with an 85% college matriculation rate and a 79% college graduation rate. Graduates often benefit from guaranteed college credit through the IB Diploma Programme and higher average salaries compared to state averages.

About the campus

Campuses are designed with a focus on safety, featuring gated and fenced perimeters, locked lobbies with electronic access, security cameras, and locked exterior and classroom doors. Each site is supported by on-campus police officers. Facilities include classrooms, cafeterias, and administrative offices, with some campuses situated on historic grounds, such as the former equestrian center at the North Hills location.

Campuses offer a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities that vary by year based on student interest, including robotics, debate, Model UN, and various student associations.
