FIS is a founding International Baccalaureate (IB) World School with over 50 years of experience offering the IB Diploma. Approximately 90% of students pursue the IB Diploma, and the Class of 2025 achieved an average score of 36 points. The school focuses on preparing students to be adaptable, ethical, and caring global citizens.

Frankfurt International School (FIS) welcomes families from over 60 nationalities. The admissions process is supported by a dedicated department, and the school provides a welcoming environment for new families transitioning to the region. FIS operates an extensive private bus fleet with over 50 routes serving both the Oberursel and Wiesbaden campuses.

The school provides academic calendars for annual planning, which include specific letter-day schedules for both the Oberursel and Wiesbaden campuses. These calendars are available for the current and upcoming academic years.

The school operates two campuses: the Oberursel campus, situated at the base of the Taunus Mountains, and the Wiesbaden campus, located in the countryside near local woods and stables. Facilities include state-of-the-art creative arts buildings with music rooms, art spaces for visual and digital projects, and black box theaters. The Wiesbaden campus recently underwent a transformation featuring a new library and collaborative learning spaces.
