FIS operates an extensive private bus fleet with over 50 routes serving both the Oberursel and Wiesbaden campuses.

Facilities
About the campus
The school operates two campuses: the Oberursel campus, situated at the base of the Taunus Mountains, and the Wiesbaden campus, located in the countryside near local woods and stables. Facilities include state-of-the-art creative arts buildings with music rooms, art spaces for visual and digital projects, and black box theaters. The Wiesbaden campus recently underwent a transformation featuring a new library and collaborative learning spaces.
Co-curriculars
FIS offers over 40 extra-curricular activities, clubs, and service groups. The REAL Activities Program provides students with opportunities to participate in arts, athletics, language learning, and leadership development. Faculty and staff are actively involved in coaching and facilitating these after-school programs.

Dr. Fochtman began his career in international education on the island of Guam three decades ago, and has since held leadership positions at international schools in India and in Germany. He is a parent of two FIS graduates.

Dr. Becky Jobes has been an international school leader in Germany, Argentina, Panama, and the USA. Her doctoral work was in Educational Psychology. She is a parent of two FIS students.

Mr. Aspinwall's international school experience began in Taiwan where he worked as a school counselor before coming to FIS in his current role as Director of Admissions and Advancement. Both of his children graduated from FIS.

Dr. Constantin Loebus' international experience includes living and working in a variety of countries: Afghanistan, Austria, Italy, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. He is also an FIS parent.

Ms. Bryant joined FIS in 2024 after spending time in education in the United States and the UAE, both in the classroom and as an edTech leader. Her daughter currently attends FIS.
- Mr. Jeroen CallensDirector of IT Operations
Mr. Callens has been at FIS since 2014, and brings with him a broad and international experience in IT in the private and government sector, as well as in education. Originally from Belgium, he has also lived and worked in Singapore, China and Germany. Both his children attended FIS.

Leila Holmyard has experience in safeguarding and wellbeing in schools in the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Germany. Leila holds an MA in Educational Leadership and Management, and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Bath. She is also an FIS parent.
