The college offers a range of academic programmes, including Matriculation and F.Sc. under the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, as well as O and A-Level programmes affiliated with Cambridge University. The curriculum covers subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, English, Urdu, Mathematics, Economics, and Islamic Studies.

The college has a history of academic success, with students frequently achieving top positions in Federal Board examinations and receiving Outstanding Learner Awards from Cambridge International Examinations. Alumni have pursued diverse professional paths, including medicine, engineering, aviation, and education.

The college is implementing an E-Learning initiative designed to connect classrooms across the OPF network, allowing expert faculty to deliver lectures to remote locations via audio/video links. This project aims to improve student performance and increase access to quality educational resources.

The registration process for classes up to 9th grade begins in mid-December, with admission tests held in January, February, and March. Admissions for F.Sc., A-Level, and degree classes typically occur in July and August following the declaration of results. Entry is merit-based, determined by a written test in English, Math, and Urdu, followed by an interview.

The academic year commences in April. The college conducts various examinations throughout the year, including send-up examinations for HSSC students and term examinations.

The campus features custom-made facilities including sports courts, playgrounds, and an auditorium. It houses well-equipped modern laboratories for Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Psychology, and Statistics. Additionally, the college provides a library, a hostel for boarding students, and an on-campus medical center staffed by a doctor and nurse.

The college hosts a variety of co-curricular activities, including intercollegiate debates, science and arts competitions, and sports galas. Students participate in national and international events, such as the ICATS Linguistic Contest, national mathematics championships, and various awareness sessions on topics like cybersecurity and solopreneurship.
