ProCivitas Stockholm strives to be Sweden's best upper secondary school by focusing on high academic quality, social development, and the strengthening of student confidence and drive. The school emphasises a conscious approach to all activities, prioritising the student experience and maintaining a calm, focused study environment. The school offers three theoretical, university-preparatory programmes: the Economics Programme (specialisations in Economics or Law), the Natural Science Programme (specialisations in Natural Science or Natural Science and Society), and the Social Science Programme (specialisations in Social Science or Behavioural Science). All courses are teacher-led and follow a standard schedule, with modern languages such as Spanish, French, German, and Italian offered.

The school aims to prepare students for university studies and professional life, with many graduates continuing to top universities such as the Stockholm School of Economics, the London School of Economics, and Yale. An active alumni association provides a network for former students, and the school maintains strong connections with the business community through guest lectures and a mentorship programme.

The school provides special support in accordance with legal requirements following an assessment. Extra adjustments are implemented for individuals and at the group level, supported by a full team of student health professionals, including a counsellor, a special educator, and a school nurse. Students also have access to supervised study time with teachers.

The school accepts applications for student transfers, subject to availability and the specific programme and specialisation. The academic year is divided into two terms. For the 2026/2027 academic year, the autumn term begins on August 17 for first-year students and August 19 for second- and third-year students, with an autumn break in week 44 and a Christmas break from December 21 to January 11. The spring term starts on January 12, 2027, and includes a sports break in week 9 and an Easter break from March 30 to April 2, with graduation scheduled for June 9, 2027.

Located on Campus Södermalm at Tullgårdsgatan 12, the school occupies its own floor in a facility that was fully renovated in 2022. Students share amenities with other schools on campus, including a library, cafeteria, and laboratory facilities. Physical education is conducted in the school's own sports hall, a movement hall, or the nearby full-sized Eriksdalshallen.

Students have access to a variety of activities, including themed days, study visits, and events organised by the student union. The school encourages student engagement through the formation of clubs, such as a chess club, a science association, and a football team. Additionally, all students study entrepreneurship through the Ung Företagsamhet (Young Enterprise) concept, which provides the opportunity to start and run their own companies.
