Multiple Intelligence International School is a progressive, Council of International Schools (CIS)-accredited institution serving students from preschool through grade 12. It is dedicated to fostering holistic development and leadership through a unique curriculum based on the theory of multiple intelligences.
Curriculum
Teaching approach
Founded on Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences, the school believes that all students are smart and capable of leading in their own ways. It fosters a culture of respect and a student-centered environment that balances academic excellence with socio-emotional learning and character formation. The school emphasizes "glocal" education, combining local and international standards to prepare students for 21st-century demands.
Programmes
The academic offering is divided into four stages: Child’s Place Preschool (Toddlers to Kinder 2), Lower School (Grades 1-4), Middle School (Grades 5-8), and Upper School (Grades 9-12). The curriculum integrates traditional subjects with multiple intelligence development, youth entrepreneurship, and project-based learning. Instruction utilizes multiple entry points and authentic assessments rather than relying solely on standardized testing.
Outcomes
The school reports a 98% acceptance rate to the top six local universities for the 2019-2020 school year and has secured 122 international university admissions across eight countries. Alumni have been recognized at prestigious institutions, including Boston College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Students are prepared to be global citizens and leaders, with a focus on entrepreneurial mindsets and sustainable development.
Student support
Learning support
The school provides support for foreign families and returning Filipinos to assist with language, socio-emotional, cultural, and academic adjustments. It maintains a strong safeguarding policy to ensure student well-being and protection. Teachers serve as mentors, and the school utilizes small class sizes to provide a more personal and supportive learning environment.
Tuition & fees
No published fee schedule was found for this school.
Admissions
The admissions process involves four steps: an initial application meeting (online or on-site) with the submission of documents, a student assessment, a student and parent interview, and final enrollment. Required documents include a birth certificate, recent photographs, recommendation forms, a final report card, and a passport for foreign students. The school also requires a parent orientation seminar at the start of the academic year.
About the campus
The school currently operates a main campus in Loyola Heights and an Upper School campus at Elizabeth Hall on Katipunan Avenue, both in Quezon City. A new master-planned, state-of-the-art campus is under development at Parklinks, a green urban estate bordering Quezon City and Pasig, with a targeted opening for the 2026-2027 school year. The new campus is designed to be a green school that supports overall wellness and sustainable development.
Co-curriculars
The school offers various opportunities for student leadership and innovation, such as the Youth Innovation Challenge, which engages students in problem-solving and creativity. Students also participate in international competitions, such as the Embry-Riddle Innovation Hangar, and engage in global study tours, including experiences in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Additionally, the school facilitates community-based projects like the "Kids Can and Teens Can Make a Difference" initiatives.
