Sands National Academy

Sands National Academy aims to nurture an open-minded, responsible generation by balancing international educational standards with Jordanian and Arab heritage. Its mission focuses on developing students' intellectual, physical, and social abilities through critical thinking, collaboration, and the promotion of social values such as transparency, non-discrimination, and the rejection of violence.

The academy offers three primary educational pathways: the National Program, which prepares students for the Jordanian General Secondary Certificate; the British Program, leading to IGCSE qualifications; and the American Diploma Program, which includes preparation for the SAT, ACT, and AP exams. Additionally, the school provides a kindergarten programme for children aged 4 to 6, focusing on foundational social, cognitive, and physical development, as well as distance learning options.

The academy maintains special sections dedicated to supporting students who face learning difficulties. However, the school notes that it does not provide specialized education support or 'Resources Room' services for students in the kindergarten and elementary stages.

The academy welcomes students of various nationalities and requires an application process that may include assessments and interviews. Prospective families must provide previous school records and identification documentation. A seat reservation fee is required upon acceptance, which is subsequently deducted from the total tuition fees. The school specifies age requirements for entry: 4 years for KG 1, 5 years for KG 2, and 6 years for Grade 1.

The academy operates from Saturday through Thursday, with daily hours from 8:00 to 3:00.

Located in Khalda, Amman, the campus utilizes modern interactive technology to support its educational programmes. The facilities are designed to provide a safe and balanced learning environment for students across various age groups.

Extracurricular activities are integrated into the educational experience to support student skill development and holistic growth. The school also implements the 'Protect ED' curriculum, which focuses on teaching students essential skills related to personal safety, health, and life balance.
