Admissions

GESS accepts applications year-round, allowing students to start at any point during the academic year, with the exception of grades 11 and 12. The admissions process is conducted online, and families do not need to be in Singapore to apply. Prospective families can book school tours or online meetings with admissions officers to learn more about the school's services and requirements.

Calendar

The school operates on a two-semester international calendar. Fees are invoiced annually, with payments due in two installments per semester, though a monthly payment plan via GIRO is available. Withdrawal notifications must be submitted by 15 October for the end of semester one or by 31 March for the end of the academic year.

About the campus

Located at Dairy Farm Lane, the state-of-the-art campus features dedicated learning, technology, and sports areas. Facilities include a 50-metre swimming pool, an indoor sports hall, a FIFA regulation-size football pitch, a 400-seater auditorium, and various multi-purpose rooms. The campus also houses libraries for different school sections and specialized areas for arts and mat-based activities.

Co-curriculars

The school offers over 200 co-curricular programmes and activities designed to help students discover their passions. These include sports such as swimming and a partnership with Borussia Dortmund for football, as well as service learning, sustainability initiatives, and music programmes.     Ms. Voswinkel has over 20 years of experience in education and school leadership, previously serving as Senior Principal at the Robert-Schuman Vocational School in Essen. She has led initiatives in school development, curriculum innovation, quality assurance, and digital transformation, and brings private sector experience to help prepare students for global careers.
