Students may opt for the Cambridge IGCSE at the end of Year 4. The final two years (Years 5–6) consist of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), which requires six main subjects, the Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge, and the CAS component.

The school consistently achieves strong academic results, with the 2025 IB cohort attaining an average score of 38.3 points. Admissions are open to local and international students throughout the academic year, subject to availability. The application process requires candidates to complete an admission test in English and Mathematics, with an additional Physics test for those entering Year 4 or IB1, followed by an interview. The academic year features a structured schedule of examinations, including mid-year and end-of-year assessments, and key milestones such as the IB Diploma results release in December. Signature events include the annual school camp, the Sabbatical Programme for Years 1–4, and various graduation ceremonies for IGCSE and IB students. The campus comprises four main blocks: the Main Building, Annex Building, Sports Complex, and HCIS Residence. The 2025 New Annex Building houses a Chinese Cultural Centre, Student Wellness Centre, Black Box, Media Studio, MakerSpace, Art Studio, and a multi-purpose hall, while the Sports Complex features a 50m swimming pool, gymnasium, and futsal court.

The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities designed to foster holistic development, including the House System, student leadership programmes, and service learning. Students participate in the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) programme, as well as specialized initiatives like the Shamrock Programme for Years 1–2 and the Resilience Camp. Additionally, the school provides preparation for the Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) and National Service (NS).
