Programmes

The school offers a French curriculum across five stages: Kindergarten (ages 3-5), Elementary (ages 6-11), Middle School (ages 12-15), and High School (ages 16-18), with an additional English International Stream (EIS) available for ages 3-6. The curriculum includes language pathways in French, English, Mandarin, Spanish, and German. High school students can customize their studies through eight specializations, including humanities, mathematics, sciences, and digital technology.

Admissions

The school welcomes students from age 3. The application process involves an online registration form, review by an admissions committee, and payment of fees. For students aged 6 and above coming from non-French systems or non-accredited schools, an assessment is required to ensure appropriate placement. All students must hold a valid Singapore residency document (e.g., Dependent Pass, PR, or Student Pass) and, for those aged 6 and above, approval from the Singapore Ministry of Education.

Calendar

The academic year is divided into three terms: Term 1 (September to December), Term 2 (January to March), and Term 3 (April to June). The school provides a detailed academic calendar, which is subject to validation by the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). Public holidays follow the Singapore government schedule and are subject to change.

About the campus

While there are no parking facilities on-site, the school is accessible via public transport, including several bus routes and the nearby Ang Mo Kio MRT station.     Jillian Erin-Agot has a background in education and began her career as a history and geography teacher. She has international experience in the USA and Australia, and held leadership roles in Paris before joining IFS in 2024.

  • Sylvie AllonasVice Principal (Secondary: 5ème-Seconde)

    Sylvie Allonas is originally from Eastern France and started her career as a teacher. She has served as a deputy head teacher in France and as head of French studies in Canada, and was awarded the insignia of Officier dans l’Ordre des Palmes académiques in 2021.

    Christophe Cailton began his career as a teacher focusing on physical education programmes. He has worked in Japan, Belgium, Spain, and France, and served as the director of the Ashbury primary campus at the Lycée Français de San Francisco before moving to Singapore.
