Singapore International School (SIS) @ Ha Long

The school focuses on a blend of Eastern values and global education to foster future global citizens. It aims to nurture students who are critical thinkers, technologically literate, confident communicators, academic achievers, and responsible citizens.

The school offers two primary pathways: the International Programme, which runs from Year 1 through to A-Levels, and the Integrated Programme, which begins at Kindergarten and continues to Year 9 before transitioning into the International Programme. The Integrated Programme includes the Vietnamese curriculum taught by local teachers, alongside subjects such as English, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music, and ICT taught by foreign teachers. Internationally recognized assessments include the Singapore iPSLE, Cambridge IGCSE, and Cambridge International AS and A Levels.

The school enrols both foreign and Vietnamese students. Admission is subject to placement test results, class vacancies, and age-appropriate grade placement. Priority is given to siblings of current students, and applicants must submit required documentation, including birth certificates, previous school reports, and health certificates.

The academic year consists of 40 school weeks, beginning in mid-August and concluding in mid-July. The calendar includes four terms, with breaks between terms, a two-week Christmas holiday, and a five-week summer break in July, alongside local national holidays.

Located on a 7.1-hectare site in the Hung Thang Urban and Service Area, the campus includes facilities for both the KinderWorld International Kindergarten and the Singapore International School. The site features dedicated buildings and playground areas to support a study pathway from pre-nursery through to Year 12.
