Singapore International School (SIS) @ Vung Tau

The school emphasizes a unique blend of Eastern values and global education. It aims to develop students who are confident, creative, effective communicators, and culturally literate citizens capable of solving technical and creative problems.

The school offers three main pathways: the International Programme (Year 1 to A-Levels), the Integrated Programme (Kindergarten to Year 9, transitioning to the International Programme for A-Levels), and the Premium Vietnamese Education Programme. The curriculum incorporates Singaporean, Cambridge, and Australian standards, with subjects including English, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music, and ICT.

Enrolment is open to both foreign and Vietnamese students. Placement is determined by age, placement test results, and class vacancies, with priority given to siblings of current students. Required documentation includes passport photos, birth certificates, previous academic transcripts, health check certificates, and vaccination records for kindergarten students.

The academic year consists of 40 school weeks, beginning in mid-August and concluding in mid-July. The calendar includes four terms with breaks between each, a two-week Christmas holiday, and a five-week summer break in July, alongside local national holidays.

The purpose-built campus features specialized rooms for arts and music, a library with online resources, fully equipped science labs, computer rooms, and a dedicated STEM room. Outdoor facilities include a playground for kindergarten students and a mini-soccer pitch, complemented by a swimming pool and basketball court.
