The academic program utilizes four primary frameworks: the Core Knowledge sequence (PK–Grade 8) for language arts, history, and geography; Singapore Math (K–Grade 8); Next Generation Science Standards (K–Grade 8); and the Cambridge IGCSE (Grades 9–10). The high school culminates in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme for grades 11 and 12. The curriculum is further enriched by instruction in coding, logic, music, chess, and public speaking.

The school is authorized by the Portuguese Ministry of Science and Education and holds a CEEB code (916614) for university applications. Students achieve strong results in international assessments, with 96% of IGCSE candidates earning grades of A* to C in six or more subjects. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in grades 11 and 12.

The school maintains a teacher-to-student ratio of approximately 1:8 to ensure personalized attention. It utilizes Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) frameworks, including the CASEL 5, and integrates Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to foster a safe and supportive environment. The school also employs dedicated academic enrichment and counseling staff to support student development.

Applications are accepted throughout the year, and families are encouraged to visit the campus for a personalized tour. The school enrolls students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, with a total enrollment of over 950 students as of the 2025–2026 academic year. The admissions process requires a non-refundable application fee and, upon acceptance, a one-time non-refundable campus enhancement fee for students in Kindergarten and above.

The school operates on a trimester system with payments due on July 1st, December 1st, and March 1st. The academic calendar includes standard school holidays and breaks, with specific dates provided in annual documents available on the school website.

Located in Sintra, the campus is a renovated, purpose-built facility featuring modern classrooms, expansive common areas, and abundant natural light. Facilities include two libraries, a full-size theater and a smaller sustainable theater, music rooms, art studios, a gymnasium, and outdoor play spaces including a turf field and courts. The campus is subject to ongoing enhancements to support innovative teaching and community needs.

The school offers a variety of after-school activities, including clubs and sports, which are included in the tuition. Students participate in House competitions and have access to programs such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, chess, music, and speech and debate. The school emphasizes the importance of sports and arts as part of its holistic educational approach.
