The school offers a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 programme anchored in international standards, including Common Core, NGSS, and the International Baccalaureate (IB). The curriculum emphasizes inquiry-based and experiential learning, with core subjects including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Physical Education. High school students pursue the IB Diploma Programme, with a wide range of electives available across all divisions, including world languages (Bulgarian, French, Spanish), design and technology, and various arts.

The school provides a tiered Learning Support programme, ranging from Level 1 (no fee) to Level 4, which includes a full-time Learning Support Assistant and a modified curriculum. Additionally, an English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme is required for new students in grades 1-12 who qualify based on WIDA testing. Dedicated counselors are available in each division to support students' social, emotional, and academic development.

The school accepts applications throughout the year, provided space is available and the school can accommodate the applicant's learning needs. The process involves submitting an online application with progress reports, passport details, and teacher recommendations, followed by potential placement tests and interviews. Admissions decisions are made by the relevant division principal, with priority given to maintaining a well-balanced and diverse class.

The school year runs from the fourth Wednesday in August to the third week in June. The calendar includes a summer break, and the school provides specific academic calendars for families.

Located on an 8-hectare campus in the foothills of Mount Vitosha, the school features purpose-built facilities including the Vitosha building for Middle and High schools and the Rila Renaissance Centre, which houses a 350-seat theatre, music, drama, and art spaces. The campus is designed with sustainability in mind, utilizing solar heating, rainwater collection, and agricultural waste heating, and has earned LEED environmental building awards. 70% of the campus grounds are green space.

Students participate in over 20 extracurricular activities, with 65% of the student body involved. Offerings include athletics (volleyball, basketball, football), arts (pottery, dance, orchestra), and academic clubs like math counts and knowledge bowl. The school also hosts events such as TEDx, arts exhibitions, and music festivals.
