The Children's House

The school operates 11 classes, divided into nine English-language classes and three Norwegian-language classes. The curriculum integrates the International Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Norwegian Framework Plan, covering subjects such as English and Norwegian language, literature and culture, mathematics, science, social studies, arts and crafts, drama, music, and cooking. Instruction is designed to ensure children become comfortable communicating in their relevant language through games, stories, poems, songs, and daily activities.

Applications for The Children's House are processed through the Sola Kommune portal. Offers are sent via the municipality, and families must accept these offers through the portal by the specified deadline to secure a place. The school offers rolling admissions throughout the year, subject to availability.

The school operates Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 16:30. Tuition fees are billed for 11 months of the year, with the first invoice issued in August. Specific school year calendars for 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 are available for reference.

The school is located in a purpose-built facility on Åsenvegen in Sola, which has been in use since 2007. The campus is situated in close proximity to several international companies. It houses 11 distinct classes to accommodate the student body.
