The school's educational philosophy is built around the "Three R's" of Respect, Responsibility, and Resourcefulness. AlSharqyia School offers a British curriculum spanning Kindergarten (KG1–KG2), Primary (Grades 1–6), Middle (Grades 7–9), and Senior (Grades 10–12) sections. The academic program includes core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Computer studies, alongside language instruction in Arabic, English, and French. Students are assessed using a term-based grading system across three terms.

The school aims to prepare its students for social and cultural life, fostering independent individuals who can serve the Kingdom of Bahrain. Its academic pathways are designed to lead to the Cambridge School Certificate.

The school explicitly states that it does not have the facilities or professional staff to accommodate children with special educational needs. Consequently, the admissions policy requests that parents of children with special needs avoid applying for admission.

Admissions are open to eligible students from KG1 to Grade 11 (and up to Grade 12 in the senior section), covering ages 4 to 18. The application process requires parents to submit an admission request and agree to the school's rules and regulations. Fees include a one-time registration fee of 80 BHD, an advance June fee of 60 BHD, and monthly tuition fees ranging from 110 BHD for KG to 187 BHD for Grades 10–12.

The academic year is divided into three terms: the First Term from September to December, the Second Term from January to March, and the Third Term from April to June. The school operates from Sunday to Thursday, with weekly holidays on Friday and Saturday. The calendar includes scheduled mid-term tests, term exams, parent-teacher meetings, and national holidays such as Bahrain National Day and Eid.

The campus in Adliya features classrooms equipped with smart projectors, whiteboards, bulletin boards, and flexible, movable seating. Academic facilities include a library organized by subject and dedicated laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Additional amenities include a safe outdoor playground for sports, a canteen offering healthy food choices, a carpeted and air-conditioned prayer room, and staff rooms with individual lockers.

The school provides extra and co-curricular activities to support student development outside the classroom. Students can participate in athletics and sports competitions, as well as performing arts activities such as drawing, painting, and coloring. Additionally, the school supports in-house publications, encouraging student writers to publish their creations in the school's online newspaper, Padlet.
