The Riverside School

Riverside School is built on the 'I CAN' mindset, which focuses on empowering children to be aware of the world, take action, and design a sustainable future. The school's ethos is defined by the '5 Es'—Empathy, Ethics, Excellence, Elevation, and Evolution—and utilizes a user-centered curriculum that integrates academic rigor with service and character development. The school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum, offering IGCSE subjects in Grades 9-10 (including English, Hindi, Math, Sciences, Business Studies, and Economics) and AS/A Level subjects in Grades 11-12 (including English General Paper, Math, Sciences, Business, Economics, Psychology, and Accounting). The academic core is complemented by a Service Curriculum and the 'I CAN' Curriculum, which uses Thinking Frameworks and real-world 'Client Projects' to build 21st-century skills. The school also implements daily routines like 'Conglom' (community time), 'Agenda Setting,' and 'Reflections' to integrate learning with real-life experiences.

Riverside School admits students from Pre-K through Grade 12, with no entrance testing for Pre-K or K-1. Applicants for Grades K2 through 2 undergo a language comprehension and Math exercise, while those for Grades 3 through 7 and 8, 9, and 11 complete written tests in languages, Math, and Science to assess grade readiness. The school does not admit students into Grade 10 or Grade 12. Admissions are subject to vacancy availability.

The academic year includes several scheduled breaks, such as a Year-End Break in March, a Summer Break from early May to early June, and a Diwali Break in November. The school also observes various public holidays, including Holi, Rakshabandhan, Gandhi Jayanti, Dussehra, New Year, Uttrayan, and Republic Day.

The campus is designed to foster creative freedom and includes specialized spaces such as a Makerspace, science laboratories (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), and various areas for sports and arts. The school grounds are maintained to provide an environment that nurtures young minds, and virtual tours are available for prospective families.
