The school offers a structured academic progression: the IB Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP) for Grades 1–5, a Cambridge checkpoint-based curriculum for Grades 6–7, and the Cambridge IGCSE for Grades 8–10. In Grades 11–12, students may choose between the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP), Cambridge AS & A Levels, or the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GHSEB) stream. The curriculum emphasizes transdisciplinary learning, applied mathematics, and science, with additional future-facing subjects like coding and robotics.

AIS students consistently achieve strong results across various boards and secure placements at leading universities worldwide, with the average student receiving acceptances from seven or more colleges. The school emphasizes the development of transferable 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, communication, and ethical judgment, to prepare students for success beyond examinations.

The school maintains a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio to ensure a highly personalized approach to education. It provides structured academic support, including small group mentorship, tiered worksheets, and periodic one-on-one personal evaluations. The admissions process is transparent and involves an online application followed by an in-person interaction with an admissions counsellor for both parents and the child. For international applicants, the school recommends applying one year in advance and requires additional documentation, such as proof of immigration status and a recommendation letter from the previous school. Admission decisions are based solely on these personal interactions, and the school offers virtual sessions for families unable to visit in person.

The academic year commences in June. For the 2026-27 academic year, application forms for Grades 1–8 and Grade 11 (IBDP and AS/A Levels) become available on September 5, 2026. Applications for Grade 11 GHSEB are issued following the declaration of Grade 10 results.

The campus features specialized learning spaces, including a library with over 10,000 books, a math lab, and a makerspace for hands-on projects. The school provides transport services covering over 100 locations in Ahmedabad and offers daily vegetarian meals, including breakfast and lunch, with Jain options available. It also serves as a certified test centre for College Board Advanced Placement (AP) exams.

The school offers a variety of co-curricular opportunities, including sports, visual and performing arts, coding, robotics, and design thinking. Students engage in community outreach projects, and high school students complete Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) projects, which have previously included international service trips to Cambodia.
