Founded in 1983, the school maintains a family-owned identity with a focus on providing a thorough education in a homely environment. The school is non-selective and reports strong academic success, with 37% of the 2026 Year 6 cohort winning academic scholarships at 11+. In 2026, 100% of Year 6 pupils received offers from their target senior schools. Pupils also achieve success in regional and national competitions, including the King’s Cayley Maths Challenge, the London Youth Games, and the Royal Academy Young Artists’ Summer Show.

The school prioritizes the wellbeing of its pupils, maintaining a dedicated wellbeing drop-in room staffed by the pastoral care team. The school welcomes children aged 2 to 11 years, with primary entry points at Nursery and Reception. For mid-year entry into Years 1–6, applicants are invited for a taster day and must provide their most recent school report. Once an offer is made, a deposit is required to secure the place.

The school is based in Wandsworth with an additional nursery hub in Putney. Pupils also utilize local amenities, including the playing fields and tennis courts of Wandsworth Park, a 33m swimming pool in Putney, and the wild spaces of Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park for Forest School lessons.

Pupils have access to over 30 extra-curricular clubs, including swimming, gardening, filmmaking, and astro-physics. The school enriches its curriculum through excursions, guest speakers, workshops, themed days, competitions, and residential trips, such as the Year 6 trip to the Isle of Wight. Wraparound care is provided by the Junior Adventures Group, which focuses on engaging children through physical activity.
