Uplift Education is the largest free public charter school network in North Texas, serving over 23,000 students in pre-k through 12th grade across 20 campuses. The network utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to prepare students for college and career success.

The mission of Uplift Education is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower students to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace. The network aims to inspire a life-long love of learning, achievement, and service, fostering an environment where students can positively change their world.
Programmes
Uplift Education utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework across all grade levels. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) for grades K-5 focuses on interdisciplinary themes such as social studies, mathematics, science, language, and the arts. The Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6-10 bridges foundational learning with high school requirements, while the Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 11-12 offers college-level coursework, including the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge. The network also provides a dedicated Road to College & Career program that includes career exposure, college field trips, and alumni support.
Outcomes
Uplift Education has achieved a 100% college acceptance rate for its graduates since 2002. The network reports an 85% college matriculation rate, with 75% of students being first-generation college attendees. Students earning an IB Diploma benefit from guaranteed college credit at Texas public universities and higher college graduation rates compared to the national average.

Admissions
Uplift Education operates a free, public charter school network with an open application process. Families can apply online by creating an account to submit a no-obligation application. The network provides support through specialized Application Advisors, scheduled tours, and email inquiries to assist families throughout the enrollment journey.
Calendar
The school provides academic calendars for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years, available in both English and Spanish. The network designates the 10 weekdays of Winter Break as non-business days.
Facilities
About the campus
The network operates 20 campuses across the D/FW metroplex, including the 25-acre Uplift Ascend Preparatory campus in Fort Worth. Facilities are designed with safety in mind, featuring gated and fenced perimeters, locked lobbies with electronic access, security cameras, and locked exterior and classroom doors. Campuses are staffed with police officers to ensure a secure environment.
Co-curriculars
Students have access to a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs, which may include art, STEM, student council, music, choir, theater, and dance. Sports programs for middle and high school students include basketball, soccer, flag football, volleyball, and track. Additionally, the network hosts a network-wide IB Showcase where top year-end projects are presented.
