The mission of the network is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower students to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace. The school aims to inspire a lifelong love of learning, achievement, and service, fostering an environment where students learn to think critically, ask questions, and grow into confident, caring leaders.

The network utilizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework across all grade levels. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) for grades K-5 focuses on interdisciplinary themes like social studies, mathematics, science, and the arts. The Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6-10 bridges foundational learning with high school requirements, while the Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 11-12 offers college-level coursework, including Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). Additionally, the Road to College & Career program provides students with career exposure, college field trips, and personalized guidance.

Uplift Education has achieved a 100% college acceptance rate for its graduates since 2002, with 85% of students matriculating to college. Graduates benefit from the IB Diploma Programme, which provides guaranteed college credit at Texas public universities and is associated with a 79% college graduation rate. Alumni are further supported by career centers and counselors to assist with post-graduation success.

The school prioritizes student well-being through social and emotional learning (SEL) programs, which include daily lessons on character, empathy, and relationship-building. Each campus is staffed with licensed behavioral counselors to identify and support emotional concerns. Additionally, intervention specialists and special education services are available to provide personalized academic support.

Uplift Education operates a free, public charter school network with an open application process. Families can apply online by creating an account, with the process designed to be simple and accessible. The network provides support through specialized Application Advisors, scheduled tours, and email inquiries to assist prospective families.

The school operates on a standard academic calendar, with specific schedules provided for each school year. Calendars for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years are available in both English and Spanish.

The network consists of 20 campuses across the D/FW metroplex, including facilities like the Uplift Mighty campus, which is situated on the historic grounds of the former Fort Worth Masonic Home for Orphans. Campuses are equipped with safety features including gated and fenced perimeters, locked lobbies with electronic access, security cameras, and locked exterior and classroom doors. Each location also provides essential school services such as cafeterias, administrative offices, and health services.

Campuses offer a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities that allow students to explore interests such as guitar, anime, manga, and various sports. Athletic programs for middle and high school students include basketball, cheerleading, soccer, flag football, volleyball, and track. These offerings are designed to help students build social skills and discover potential career paths or hobbies.
