UT Preparatory Academy

The school offers the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) for grades 9–12 and a Cognia-accredited U.S. high school curriculum. Advanced academic pathways include Advanced Placement (AP) courses authorized by the College Board and A-Level courses through Pearson Edexcel. The school is also a candidate for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Specialized pathways include a Foundation Program for grade 12 students, an NCUK International Foundation Year, and a U.S. 2+2 Dual Enrollment program that integrates high school requirements with California community college coursework.

The school provides personalized university guidance and academic advising to assist with course selection, performance development, and post-secondary preparation. A dedicated Director of Student Services oversees pastoral support and settlement assistance, while an International Student Advisor supports students with study permit applications and university submission materials. Additionally, the school offers an ESL Intensive English Program with support ranging from beginner to advanced proficiency levels.

The school operates a rolling admissions process, with a priority application deadline of January 21, 2027, for the 2026–2027 academic year. Admission decisions are announced on February 12, 2027, and applications submitted after mid-January are considered on a space-available basis. Applicants are not required to submit standardized English proficiency scores like IELTS or TOEFL, as admission is based on official academic transcripts and demonstrated readiness for post-secondary study. Prospective families are encouraged to attend Preview Days, which include student-led tours and meetings with Division Directors.

The school offers six annual intake periods for its ESL Intensive English Program: September, November, January, April, July, and August. For the 2026–2027 academic year, the priority application period concludes on January 21, 2027, with decisions released on February 12, 2027. Preview Days for prospective families are scheduled throughout the year, including dates in September, November, and April.

Located in North York, Ontario, the campus provides a focused, high-performance learning environment. The school offers on-campus residence options for students, as well as homestay placements that include three meals daily. The facility includes a dedicated Test Centre to support students with standardized testing requirements.

The school emphasizes character, leadership, and global citizenship through various student enrichment programs. Students participate in community service initiatives, clubs, and activities designed to build confidence and real-world skills. These programs are coordinated by the Director of Student Affairs to enhance student engagement and overall school experience.
