Admissions

The school accepts enrolments for students from Nursery to Grade 8. The registration process is conducted online and requires the submission of documents including passport and ID copies for students and parents, family books for Emirati nationals, residency visas for non-Emiratis, vaccination records, and birth certificates. All students must be registered with the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), a process managed by the school's registration office. Age requirements are strictly enforced, with specific cut-off dates for each grade level based on a December 31st deadline.

Calendar

The school operates on a Monday to Thursday schedule. School hours for students are 07:50 AM to 03:15 PM, while the administrative office is open from 07:15 AM to 04:30 PM.

    Graeme Naftel has nearly 30 years of experience as an educator and leader in Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Dubai, and Sharjah. He joined VISS Tilal in August 2023 as the Founding Head of School, having previously served as a homeroom teacher, specialist teacher, Head of Primary, and Whole School Principal. His vision focuses on critical thinking, integrity, and a culture of care.

    Leanda Kelly is originally from England and has been working in the UAE since 2015, with over ten years of leadership experience in international schools. She holds a National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL), is a qualified British School Overseas inspector, and is pursuing a Masters in Education and Leadership. Her focus is on student-centred, meaningful learning and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

    Marrem Murad began her career in Australia, where she contributed to the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). After moving to the UAE, she spent over a decade with the Victoria International School of Sharjah community, leading programs and mentoring educators. She became the Assistant Principal for Whole School Wellbeing at VISS Tilal in 2023, focusing on embedding wellbeing into daily school life.
