American Community School of Abu Dhabi (ACS)

Monique has more than 20 years of experience teaching and leading in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, and Panama. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, a Master’s degree in Education, and a certificate of Teaching and Leading from Harvard University.

Amy completed her BA in history and her MEd at the University of Maryland. She has extensive experience in international education, including roles as a teacher, coordinator, and High School Assistant Principal at the Zurich International School.

Bobbi holds a BA and BEd from the University of British Columbia and an MA from Royal Roads University. With 20 years of experience as an educator, she has served as a classroom teacher, curriculum coordinator, and educational leader in Canada, China, and Abu Dhabi.

Christina joined the ACS community in 2021 and has been a teacher and technology leader for many years, working in schools in Brooklyn, Japan, and Indonesia. She holds a degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Liberal Arts and Philosophy.

Jonathan has been an international educator for over 15 years, having taught in Thailand, South Korea, China, and Saudi Arabia. He holds Master’s Degrees in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, and International Education.

Karl has worked in international education for more than 20 years, with experience in China, Saudi Arabia, the Dominican Republic, and Lebanon. He holds a master’s in Educational Leadership and is working on completing his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.

Kathy recently completed an eleven-year tenure as Principal of Poudre High IB World School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Technical Communication, a Master of Educational Leadership and Human Resource Studies, and a Certificate of Educational Leadership from Harvard.

Hanadi is a specialist in Arabic language and linguistics with over 15 years of experience teaching and auditing Arabic programs internationally. She has chaired the NESA Arabic Advisory group and is a member of the AERO World Language team.

Rob has been an educator in international schools for more than 15 years, with experience in China, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Preben has more than 10 years of experience in providing students with opportunities to participate in sports and developing co-curricular activity offerings. He holds a Master of Education in Athletic Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Evelyn has more than 20 years of experience in education as a K-12 curriculum coordinator, classroom teacher, and instructional coach. She is a National Board Certified Teacher with a Master in Educational Administration.

Ryan is a British qualified Doctor of Educational Psychology with over 12 years of experience in the UK, Thailand, and China. He has a track record of leading psychologically-informed and student-centered initiatives.
