The school delivers a US-standards-based curriculum, including the Common Core State Standards and an extensive Advanced Placement (AP) program. Mandarin is compulsory from Early Childhood 1 through Grade 8, while High School students may choose between Mandarin, French, or Spanish. Technology is integrated across all grade levels, with the school designated as an Apple Distinguished School; students from Grade 3 to 12 participate in a Bring Your Own Apple Device program.

Graduates earn an AIS High School Diploma, requiring 24 Carnegie credits across subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, World Languages, Physical Education, and Visual & Performing Arts. The school is an approved SAT Test Center and offers over 20 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, with more than 90% of students taking at least one AP exam before graduation. Graduates attend universities worldwide, including institutions in the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.

The school provides counseling services with dedicated counselors for the Middle and High School divisions, as well as an Elementary School counselor. The faculty includes a diverse international body, with approximately half holding master's degrees or higher, and all are qualified and approved by the Hong Kong Education Bureau.

The school operates a rolling admissions process for students aged 3 to 18. The admissions team conducts on-campus assessments for Early Childhood 1 through Grade 4, while candidates for Grades 5 to 12 may choose online assessments. Interviews with principals are arranged for applicants from Grade 1 to 12 based on a review of school records and assessment performance.

The school operates on a 182-instructional-day calendar divided into three trimesters. Trimester 1 runs from the second week of August to mid-November, Trimester 2 from mid-November to early March, and Trimester 3 from early March to mid-June.

The school is located on a single, closed campus in Kowloon Tong. Facilities include a 25-meter swimming pool, a dedicated high school building, an e-library, an elementary library known as the SPAce, and a media lab. Every classroom is equipped with digital projectors, and the campus features a cafeteria operated by Café Concepts.

Students are expected to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, student leadership bodies like the Student Council and House system, and the TECHsperts. The school features a mandatory Outdoor Education and Leadership Program (OELP) that includes day camps, residential camps, and overseas community service trips. High school students also participate in the 'INFINITY' Real-World Learning Program, which connects them with industry coaches for career exploration.
