About the campus

The campus is located in Lai Chi Kok and features two main buildings: the Academic Building and the Amenities Building. Facilities include 70 classrooms, five science laboratories, two gymnasiums, a 200-seat lecture hall, a 611-seat Alliance Hall with professional acoustics, and a central library. Sports amenities include a FIFA-standard rooftop 7-a-side soccer pitch, a FIBA-regulation basketball court, a rock-climbing area, and high-performance training spaces for activities like judo and ballet.

Co-curriculars

The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including the Social Justice Club, a student-led Tech Team that provides AV support for events, and the Hong Kong Awards for Young People (AYP) program. Students also participate in competitive sports such as ball hockey and chess, as well as performing arts groups like the Alliance Orchestra. Leadership development is further supported through a structured three-year program starting in Grade 7, which includes community, personal, and global leadership components.

  • Dr. David BestPrincipal (Administration)

    David left Nova Scotia, Canada for Hong Kong in 2001 to embark on his international education career. He has been with CAIS since its establishment and holds BEd, MEd, and EdD degrees.

  • Mrs. Leslie JalaPrincipal (Primary School)

    Leslie integrates a Christian worldview into all subject areas of learning. She holds a BFA and PGDE and enjoys traveling with her husband and two boys.
