The school offers two primary academic pathways: Cambridge International (Primary, Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary, and Advanced) and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) for Grades 8–12. The Cambridge curriculum provides a flexible, application-oriented course of study, while the NIOS pathway offers significant flexibility in subject choice and pace of learning. Vocational subjects such as Catering Management, Data Entry Operations, and Physical Education and Yoga are available within the NIOS framework.

The school is committed to inclusive education and provides personalized learning environments tailored to individual student needs. It offers support for students with special educational needs through the NIOS pathway, which allows for staged assessments and various accommodations. The school also employs a dedicated academic counselling team to guide students in designing subject profiles and navigating higher education pathways.

APL Global School accepts applications year-round for students from Pre-KG through Grade 11. The admission process requires the submission of an application, and families are encouraged to contact the admissions department for specific fee structures and enrollment details. The school maintains specific age criteria for early years, requiring children to be 3, 4, and 5 years old for Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG respectively as of June 1st of the academic year.

The school operates on a semester-based system. The first semester fee is typically payable between March and April, while the second semester fee is due between September and October, depending on the grade level and curriculum pathway. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The campus spans 270,099 sq ft and includes an academic and administrative block with air-conditioned classrooms equipped with smart boards and projectors. Specialized facilities include science and food labs, art and music rooms, a recording room, a digital art and photo studio, and libraries. Sports facilities feature two futsal grounds, basketball and volleyball courts, cricket nets, and a gym, alongside a 9,825 sq ft auditorium for school events.

The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities, including sports such as football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, and badminton. Enrichment programmes include Meraki (creative expressions), Helen O'Grady (theatre), and a Vocational Club focused on entrepreneurship. Students also participate in the Student Council, inter-house and inter-school events, community projects, and various clubs.
