Beacon College International School is a British-curriculum school in Lashibi, Ghana, serving students from nursery through to upper secondary levels across two distinct campuses.

Teaching approach

The school operates on the principle that all children are equal and entitled to knowledge. Its educational approach is rooted in core values of being outstanding, kindness, respect, duty, joy, and humility, aiming to provide a broad, balanced, and relevant education that fosters individual talent and emotional well-being.

Programmes

The school follows the British educational model, structured into four phases: Early Years (EYFS curriculum for ages 1-5), Primary (Key Stages 1 and 2 for ages 5-11), Lower Secondary (Key Stage 3 for ages 11-14), and Upper Secondary (Forms 4-6). The Upper Secondary programme prepares students for IGCSE examinations at age 16 and GCE Advanced Level examinations at age 18.
