The college aims to transform students' lives by understanding their individual stories and empowering them to set ambitious goals. The educational approach focuses on small class sizes and individual mentoring to ensure each student's specific needs are met.

The college offers a variety of academic pathways, including two-year A level courses, one-year A level intensive/resit courses, and a one-year GCSE programme. The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including sciences, mathematics, humanities, languages, and the arts. Specialized programmes are available for students aiming for medical school or Oxbridge, as well as the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Teaching is conducted in small groups, with an average class size of seven students.

Brampton College is a high-achieving institution with a strong record of academic performance. In 2025, 44% of A level grades were A*/A, and 51% of GCSE grades were 9-7. A significant majority of students progress to Russell Group universities, including the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, Imperial College, and UCL. The college also maintains a successful track record for medical school applications.

The college provides individual support for students, including guidance on study skills, time management, organization, and exam nerves. The Head of Learning Support is available for drop-ins and scheduled sessions, and the college employs an experienced counsellor and an educational psychologist. Students with special educational needs (SEN) receive support through differentiated teaching and formal exam access arrangements where appropriate.

Prospective students and their families are invited to arrange an interview with the Principal or a senior member of the team. While there is no rigid admission policy, the college evaluates each applicant's motivation, commitment, and aptitude for their chosen courses. Generally, applicants are expected to have achieved at least grade 6 at GCSE in relevant subjects, with grade 7 required for Mathematics, Science, Modern Languages, and Art. Scholarships are available for outstanding candidates for the two-year A level course, subject to means testing.

The academic year is divided into three terms. The first term typically runs from early September to mid-December, the second from early January to late March, and the third from mid-April to late June. Half-term breaks occur in October and February, and there is no half-term break during the summer term. Intensive one-year courses usually commence in early September.

Located in Hendon, North London, the campus consists of a purpose-built site featuring four refurbished science laboratories, a modern art studio, and a dedicated GCSE suite. The facilities include a large, supervised library, a computing suite, and various breakout areas for study and relaxation. The art studio is equipped for painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, and photography, including a darkroom and architect desks.

The college offers a range of enrichment activities designed to build confidence and prepare students for their next steps. Options include the Duke of Edinburgh Award, voluntary work, and charity fundraising groups. Competitive and recreational activities include table tennis, football, and theatre trips, alongside overseas travel such as an annual ski trip. Art and photography are also available as extracurricular options.
