Admissions

Brookes Westshore welcomes students from Grade 4 through Grade 12, fostering an inclusive, multicultural community that currently represents 21 different nationalities. Calendar

The 2026-2027 school year begins with dorm student arrivals on September 3, 2026, followed by orientation on September 4 and the first day of classes on September 8. About the campus

Established in 2018, the purpose-built campus features modern classrooms with integrated technology, science labs, an art studio, a gymnasium, and a cafeteria. Boarding students reside in bright, open-planned dormitories that include double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, recreation rooms, and kitchen spaces. The school also utilizes nearby facilities, including the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre, which offers ice rinks, fields, courts, a pool, and a velodrome.

Co-curriculars

Students have access to a wide range of after-school activities, school trips, and sports, supported by strategic partnerships with local amenities. Available options include ice hockey, soccer, rugby, lacrosse, basketball, tennis, squash, golf, swimming, and climbing at the Boulder House. Additionally, students can participate in outdoor activities such as camping and skiing, as well as specialized programs like the Hockey Academy.

    Graham graduated with his doctorate from the University of British Columbia in 2005. He co-founded the Brookes Education Group, has led the expansion of the group to multiple countries, and is an associate professor at the University of Victoria.

    Jerry joined the Brookes Education Group as a co-founder of Brookes Shawnigan Lake and is the Founding Chairman of Dwight School Seoul. He is a 28-year veteran of the United World Colleges movement and has extensive knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Organization.
