AISC operates on a rolling admissions basis throughout the year, with the largest cohorts typically beginning in August and January. Applicants must meet age requirements by August 31st for their intended grade, and enrollment is contingent upon the student's ability to meet academic standards and the school's capacity to support any special needs. Indian national applicants must meet specific Ministry of External Affairs criteria, including proof of a transient stay in India and a history of international education. Prospective families are encouraged to apply as early as possible, as grade levels often reach capacity and move to a waitpool.

The school year runs from early August through early June. The regular school day operates from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with an early dismissal at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays to facilitate faculty professional development.

The 13-acre campus features over 80 flexible teaching spaces, a Fine Arts Center with an 850-seat theater, and a Design Technology Lab equipped with robotics, 3D printers, and laser cutters. Athletic facilities include a fitness center, a 25-meter swimming pool, and a re-designed track and soccer pitch.
