Christchurch Boys' High School

Founded in 1881, the school is guided by its 'Blue Black Values' of commitment, bravery, honour, and service. The school operates on a four-term academic year. In 2026, Term 1 runs from 27 January to 2 April, Term 2 from 20 April to 3 July, Term 3 from 20 July to 25 September, and Term 4 from 12 October to 11 December. The campus is currently undergoing a major redevelopment project to modernise teaching spaces and infrastructure, with recent completions including a new Hall, Energy Centre, and the Caddick and Caldwell blocks.
