Admissions

About the campus

The 4-acre main campus in the western suburbs of Tokyo features a 370-seat auditorium, a 450-seat gymnasium, and a 25,000-volume library that provides access to periodicals, audiobooks, and ebooks. Outdoor facilities include a regulation-size turf soccer field, two tennis courts, basketball courts, and modern playgrounds. The campus also includes a dining hall with a hot lunch program, and every student is provided with a laptop or tablet computer.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Upper Iowa University and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University. Prior to CAJ, he served 18 years teaching physical education and six years as a dean/assistant principal in Illinois, alongside 18 years as a bi-vocational pastor.

    Renee accepted the role of Middle School Principal in 2023, having served in the Middle School division at CAJ since 2015 as a teacher and Head Teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from Tennessee Tech and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. Her background includes teaching Bible, math, and algebra, as well as serving as a Student Council Advisor.

    John Van Hofwegen joined CAJ as Elementary School Principal in 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Calvin University and a Master of Education in Special Education from Regent University.
